September round-up!

It has been a very busy month at Associated Telecom during September, so we thought we’d give you an insight into what we’ve been getting up to and keep you on the journey with us!

Whilst looking after our existing customers, we have seen a lot of growth during Q3 of the year through our Communication Specialists bringing on new businesses, as well as existing mobile customers expanding their teams and growing their current accounts with us. We have also purchased a new mobile customer base from M-Viron Staffs Limited, increasing our mobile customer base by 20%. After careful consideration made by M-Viron Staffs Limited, we were chosen amongst many other businesses who put themselves forward for this exciting opportunity so we feel very lucky. This has been an busy but rewarding time at Associated Telecom through transitioning the new customers over and introducing ourselves as a company. We will continue to give them the exact same service as the M-Viron Staffs team, and we are excited to start building on these new relationships with the customers.

During the summer, we had some new starters join the team- Lily, Maria, Richard, Steven and Jamie. Richard, Maria and Jamie have joined the Business Development department, where they will be growing our customer base. Lily and Steven will be based on our Admin/ Support team, dealing with any customer queries and making sure systems are running smoothly. We have had a crazy few months over summer with people enjoying their annual leave and summer holidays, but September has allowed the team to all work alongside each other as a full team and allow the new starters to really settle in- go check out our meet the team page where you can get to know the team a little better. We will have two new starters joining the team within the next couple of weeks, who will be based in our landline department. Landline is such a key focus at the moment, due to the 2025 switch-over and making sure businesses are using the right products for when this takes place. If you are wanting to find out more about the switch-over and what this means for your business, check out our landline blog post to find out more. We have plans to keep expanding the team, so keep your eyes peeled for any upcoming job adverts on our careers page.

Raising some money for our chosen charities has also been a key focus over the September month. We managed to raise £150 at our charity bake sale, in aid of Telford Support Crisis, where we were able to purchase a variety of food items that the charity were in need of. It was such a fun way of getting the office together, whilst all in aid of a good cause. With the rise of gas and electric over the upcoming months, there is an even bigger need to help support people who are in financial crisis. Some of the team also took part in the Gamma Rally Race at the end of September, where they drove from the UK all the way to Geneva, whilst pitting stopping at a few other countries and taking part in some challenges a long the way. The office helped towards raising a grand total of £80,000 for Special Effects and ATE which is amazing! We have some some charity fundraising events coming up before the end of the year, so keep your eyes peeled.
