Associated Telecom Solutions insists on supporting businesses in our Shropshire community. Although we have clients all over the UK, we take great pride in our home county and its thriving community, which includes sports clubs such as Craven Arms Town Football Club.
As Chris Taylor, programme manager for Connecting Shropshire, said: “We have found ATS to have a proactive and can-do approach… [they] have a clear desire to assist and stimulate an active and prosperous local business economy.”
We really do!
Mark, John and Steve of ATS are great football fans, so when the opportunity arose to sponsor a local club such as Craven Arms Town FC, we couldn’t be happier to get involved.
When CATFC started up in 2015, they entered Division Two of the Shropshire Football Association and were rather successful. Unfortunately, Division Two was side-lined this year to focus on the Premier Division and Division One. As a result, CATFC is now amongst 17 teams in Division One and some very strong competition.
But with some amazing local talent and crisp, white shirts featuring the ATS logo front and centre, CATFC have great potential to go all the way…
Finding their feet
Craven Arms Town FC started the 2016/2017 season with a new management team. Manager Jamie Morris and Assistant Manager Mike Seabourne have both worked together previously at Ludlow FC and were delighted to be reunited at the Craven Arms club.
Several new players also joined the team and it took Jamie and Mike a few games to find their best eleven. As a result, Craven Arms started the season off slowly with a couple of defeats and draws… but that wasn’t to last!
In it to win it
With the squad settled, CATFC has had a run of five wins over September and October.
Clive Leworthy, Club Chairman, said: “A couple of tough away draws followed by two good home wins are seeing us move up the table. We beat Madeley 4-2 on Saturday which was a great result as they are currently fourth in the table and beat us three times last year.”
Mr Leworthy continued: “Overall we are very optimistic for the season. We have a strong, young squad, good support from the locals and of course our brilliant sponsors, like ATS Mobiles!”
ATS looks forward to seeing how the season plays out, while continuing to work closely with other sponsors to ensure the success of CATFC.
