Meet the Team

Following a long and varied career in multiple industries, Steve added Associated Telecom Limited to his portfolio of businesses in the mid 2000’s with a desire to grow a strong and stable business which is able to support its customers and staff, over a long and sustained period. Steve has a proven background in building and growing businesses in various sectors, and works closely with Associated Telecoms Directors to ensure the company delivers on its promises to both its customers and staff.

James joined the business in 2017 when his previous employer was acquired by Associated Telecom. With a long history in the Telecoms industry, from Junior sales roles up to multiple Directorship’s, James’ remit has been to develop a strategy allowing the business to grow organically, whilst also ensuring we maintain existing relationships with customers and partners to continue our unrivalled record of retaining customers. James has a young family, and is a keen golfer and football fan, where he can regularly be found at Villa Park with his eldest daughter who is Aston Villa mad!

Rory has worked at Associated Telecom for 9 years, having joined the company after completing a university degree in Business Management. Rory’s role has evolved during his time at Associated Telecom, now managing the whole operations side of the company. As an Operations Director, the role involves managing the day-to-day operations of every department, implementing new operational processes into the business and keeping track of overall company performance. Rory has a keen interest in sports and enjoys spending his time going on family days out when he’s not in the office.

Connor is our Operations Manager, having worked here for over 2 years. Following a promotion after 10 months of working here, Connor is now our go to man for anything operations related and keeping the mobile department in check. Connors’ role involves overseeing the mobile department and the connection process of our customers upgrades, as well as assisting our Operations Director in the creation and implementations of office procedures. Connor is the geek of the office! He loves a quiz, collecting Lego sets and watching a good film – more specifically the original 1968 Planet of the Apes!

Lizz joined the team during the end of 2022 and has already made a huge impact to the operational side of the company. Before joining Associated Telecom, Lizz trained as an accountant before entering the telecoms world. After working in many different departments herself, she has grown her industry knowledge and gained a huge amount of experience, and is able to implement this within her day-to-day work. Her role at Associated Telecom involves overseeing the landline team and making sure everything runs smoothly, as well as ensuring all our processes and procedures are the best they can do be! Weird fact about Lizz, she’s in fact allergic to the cold…

Rebekah has worked in the telecoms industry for the past 5 years after starting her working life in Hospitality at a local event venue. Having held many roles within the industry, starting as a Business Development Executive in Mobiles before moving to Business Telephone Systems and eventually an Administration/Support role, Rebekah has lots of really relevant experience allowing her to assist customers in many ways.

In her home life, Rebekah is an avid poker player which is how she met her partner of 10 years, and they regularly like to holiday to Las Vegas! Rebekah has an extremely bouncy and energetic Border Collie, Rui, who takes up the majority of her time outside of work with long walks.

In her spare time Rebekah enjoys getting stuck into a good Netflix series or watching Wolves and love getting the opportunity to go to Molineux Stadium to support them – her dog is named after ex Wolves goalkeeper Rui Patricio!

Sophie may be the youngest in the office, however she’s made a big impact with her love for technology and customer service, helping lots of our customers during the onboarding process so they feel at ease from the moment they join us. After starting in June 2021 whilst studying a Level 3 Infrastructure Technician course, Sophie has demonstrated her expertise in landline and broadband which allows her to provide customers with the best technical support, whether it be tailoring customers phone systems to suit their businesses needs, or assisting with any queries they may have. Interestingly, another one of Sophie’s expertise is building Lego, as that’s what you’ll find her doing in her spare time.

Hollie has worked within the telecoms industry for 6 years. She started off in Telesales and then 4 ½ years later moved over to the Provisioning and Support department, meaning she has a well-rounded outlook on the industry.  Hollie will be provisioning and supporting customers with their phone systems. She does everything from the onboarding calls, through to building the phone systems to the customers’ requirements and then on to supporting the customer after installation. In Hollies spare time, she loves taking her daughter to the park so she can play on the swings and feed the ducks.

Chris joined the team with over 4 years’ experience as a Telecommunications Engineer.

In his spare time Chris enjoys using the gym to keep fit, improving his golf handicap and getting out for long walks with his staffy Ralph.

Amy worked in the Telecom industry for over 3 years now, starting off as a Business Development Executive and working her way up to managing her own team. Amy has recently joined Associated Telecom, and will be responsible for the growth of our Telemarketing team. She will be focusing on training and mentoring individuals, so we can keep helping as many businesses as we can. In Amys spare time, you’ll find her on a walk with her dog or on a skiing holiday!

After working in retail and being a part of a band, Harry decided he wanted a career change and entered the world of Telecoms in 2022. He loves chatting and making connections with as many customers at he can, so he’s definitely in the right job.

As a Business Development Executive, Harry in his own words says his main role is to ‘ignite the flame and get people excited about joining the Associated Telecom family’.

Interesting fact about Harry- he once took part in a gig at the summit of the Wrekin, which makes him the first and only man in history to play drums at the very top of the Iconic Shropshire Hill.

Stacey works in our Business Development Team and utilises her experience in the industry along with her chatty nature to introduce Associated Telecom to customers across the UK.

At home Stacey is a “Soccer Mom” to a football mad son and daughter, but also enjoys family days out and trips to Cornwall with Seth the family Bull Mastiff often tagging along.

Having worked in the telecommunication industry for more than 20 years, Richard is incredibly experienced within all aspects of telephony, with an expertise in business mobiles. He has worked for two major mobile networks and a telecoms provider, which has given him a real overview of the industry. Richard will be helping to grow our existing base of customers through meeting a broad range of businesses, identifying their specific requirements and providing mobile solutions to meet their operational and budgetary requirements. Outside of work, you’ll find Richard spending time with his young daughter and 2 dogs, as well as watching a variety of different sports- football being one of them as he is a huge Coventry City supporter!

Having worked in the Telecoms industry for 10 years, Dave joined Associated Telecom early in 2023 and his wealth of experience has benefited both the company and his customers.

He spends most of his free time entertaining two children and a border Collie alongside following Everton football club, the New York Jets, F1 and most sports. Dave loves a good film and visiting the theatre or catching up for a pint with friends.

Luke joined the business in October 2021, having worked previously at another telecommunication company for 6 years. Luke joined us as he was ready to take the next step in his career by working in a Field Sales role, something he had never done before. This new role at Associated Telecom has allowed Luke to experience the whole customer journey, from start to finish. Luke provides our customers’ with a tailored telecommunication solution, supports the customer during the installation process and continues to look after the customer once they are up and running.  When Luke isn’t out on the road, you’ll find him partying with friends at the weekend, watching F1 or gaming.

Dan is our go to man for anything product related. After working at Associated Telecom for almost 5 years, Dan has built up a lot of industry knowledge and experience in account management along the way. Dan is always on hand to offer his colleagues support and advice, as well as providing his customers with the highest standard of customer service and in his own words ‘just going that extra mile for them’. This has allowed Dan to create many long-lasting relationships with his customers and play an important role in their businesses telecommunications. Outside of work, Dan has his hands full with looking after his two children and two dogs but when he has got some spare time, you’ll find him on a run or watching Man United!

Duncan is one of our longest standing team members and will be celebrating his 6^th year at Associated Telecom this year. Duncan’s main responsibilities are looking after our existing customers and offering any support the customer may need, as well as advising them on their telecommunication options. Duncan has always had a passion for sales, as he worked in the cycle industry selling products within retail stores. Duncan is a valued member of the team, full of industry knowledge and always available to help anyone, whether that be his colleague or customers. Outside of work, you’ll find Duncan spending quality time with his family, on the golf course or doing a spot of fishing. And how could we forget, Duncan is another Man United supporter!

Mel is one of our fabulous Account Managers, who joined the business in 2018. Mel has worked in the telesales industry for 20 years, working in many different industries. Mel has lots of valuable experience behind her, from building relationships with existing customers to building up a pipeline for new potential customers, allowing her to excel within her role. Mel is the main point of call for her customers business telecommunications, dealing with any issues and arranging their businesses upgrades. Mel has three lovely children who she spends time with, and enjoys eating out with a cocktail in her hand with family and friends in her spare time.

Chris has joined the account management team, looking after all our landline customers. After working in the banking industry for 12 years, Chris made the move into the telecommunication world where he gained a vast amount of experience in Account Management, Retention and Credit Control. As Associated Telecoms first landline Account Manager, Chris will be making sure our landline customers are happy and helping to resolve any issues that crop up. It’s important to us that our customers are well looked after, and Chris is the perfect man for the job! When Chris isn’t looking after our lovely customers, you’ll find him watching Leicester football club with his son or planning his next holiday with the family.

After managing a restaurant and working within a residential home, Lily decided to enter the wonderful world of telecommunication.  Lily has many valuable years of dealing with people which she can applying within her role at Associated Telecom- so we know our customers will be well looked after! As a Sales Processor, Lily will work very closely with the Account Management team in order to process all the customers mobile deals that come through, as well as being the first point of call for many of our customers who have queries. Fun fact about Lily- she loves going on cruises, especially to the Caribbean! She has also recently taken up archery as a new hobby, how cool!
