The time has come for us to say goodbye to our apprentice Adam. He has been working with us for just over a year, joining us through the Telford and Wrekin Apprenticeship scheme. Now that Adam has completed his IT Apprenticeship, he has decided to move exclusively into IT to pursue the next stage of his learning and development.
Adam was a fantastic member of our Shropshire telecoms team. As an apprentice, we wanted him to gain as much hands-on experience as possible in a fast-moving office environment. A large part of Adam’s role was to look after company data and ensure it was all up-to-date… a perfect task for him as he has such a keen eye for detail.
With new ATS clients coming onboard all the time, many of them wanting our full range of telecoms services, keeping on top of customer data is a serious job. So much so, we are about to expand our Administration team. Business mobiles, landlines, VoIP and fibre take a lot of organising! It is important for us to take any and all of that pressure off clients.
Adam said: “The apprenticeship was a huge success for me. I was able to learn a lot of hands-on, valuable skills whilst working in a busy office. Overall, being at ATS helped me adapt and gain vital work-based skills. Thank you so much for the opportunity.”
Due to the exciting growth plans, ATS is also having to take on more office space. No need to worry though, we’re still in the same place – just expending onto a second floor in the same building. This means that we will have more support staff to help and advise clients and even closer relationships with suppliers so that we can provide bespoke, cost-effective telecoms to more UK businesses.
As part of our expansion strategy, we will continue to offer apprenticeship opportunities to young people looking to take their first steps into the world of work and telecoms.
We’d like to wish Adam the best of luck for his future in IT and say thank you, for being such a hard-working member of the team.
